Teens Charged with Gang Participation, Recruitment [abc7News]

Police officers in Fairfax arrested four teenagers last Thursday on gang related charges.The arrests came after a month-long investigation conducted by the Fairfax County Gang Unit in cooperation with school administrators and resource officers at South County Secondary School.

The investigation revealed the students were recruiting and initiating other students into a new gang they were trying to create. Detectives arrested four Lorton-area juveniles, ages 17, 15, and two 14-year-olds. The students were each charged with gang participation and recruitment. The 15 and 14 year olds were also charged with hazing. The 17 year old was also charged with destruction of property.
