Orissa to make Computer education madatory for college students
Bhubaneswar, Jun 18: The Orissa government is contemplating to make computer education mandatory for the students in Plus Two and Plus Three level in all colleges in the state.As a part of the Global Skill upgradation Programme, at least 300 college lecturers drawn from over 50 colleges in the state would be trained in English communication and analytical skill by the experts in the Infosys here.These teachers would be called as Pilot trainers who would provide training to other teachers in the colleges in phases so that they would impart necessary training to the students to excel in knowledge process outsourcing, Commercial process outsourcing and Business process outsourcing.Meanwhile, a meeting of the Vice-Chancellors and Principals of all Autonomous colleges in Orissa, presided over by State Higher Education Minister Samir Dey, today suggested minimum 180 days classes in a year in the colleges, setting up of anti-ragging squad in each college, yearly budget for college, common entrance test for admission into Post Graduate Classes and introduction of gradation system in the college level.Mr Dey said all these suggestion would be included in the policy vision document for the development of higher education in the state.

sir , one of my frand study in konarak institute of science and technolgy , jatni ,bhuvneswar ,orissa . sheis in first year. she and also her frands ragged by fourth year students, they ragging daily, again and again. she and her frands afraid to tell her parents and school magement because the fear of fourth year students .last night she call me and she is crying badly. and if this ragging few more days then really anyone girls take any chance to avoid ragging...so plz sie take qick action and tell the school management to take proper action against, they are ragged mentally. plzzz

doing. they have no idea about this. they also ragged in collger hostrl and college. the girls and boys are badly behave with them. they all are mentaly distrub bacause ragging
