New Delhi, Dec 10: The Supreme Court on Monday said that measures should be taken to curb incidents of ragging in colleges and universities.
The apex court directed that ragging should be curbed at any cost. Besides general colleges, those colleges which grant professional degrees should also check incidents of ragging, it ruled.
The court also said that the recommendation of Raghavan Committee, looking into the issue of ragging in educational institutions, must be implemented.
The six-member committee is headed by former CBI Director R. K. Raghavan.
